Transparency Breakdown

to support the site, please see Ko-Fi.

I currently have zero intention to plaster invasive ads around this site. This means I rely on support via Ko-Fi to maintain it, even in it's early stages during development. Thus, I see no reason a Pokémon fan-site should not publicly disclose its funding based on that alone.

Any additional money not spent on the following services below are funded towards full-time work on the site, which will allow it to be finished earlier.

Currently, I'm at 8 paid members, at $5 minimum, meaning we raise at least $40 per month out of the required $66.

  • $2 — URL
  • $20 — Hosting Costs
  • $25 — Cloud Storage for Backups
  • $19 — Community Service Hosting, Discord bot etc.

FAQ

Who are you, and what do you do?
I'm Lewtwo, a Pokémon YouTuber, series archivist, artist and designer. I started playing Pokémon in 2009 with Pokémon Pearl.

What is this site, and why was it made?
Lewtwo.net was originally made as an upgrade of both my original Pokémon Asset Archive and older website, which, due to the MediaWiki framework, would allow others to contribute in a more direct way. However, in order to facilitate the amount of images in the archive being on the site, they had to serve some sort of purpose to prevent it from becoming what was essentially a file-hosting site.

Due to instances of disillusionment with other Pokémon sites that were out of our control, we figured we should kill two birds with one stone, and make the best informational resource on the series that has ever existed. Again, if you're interested in helping out, please see our Discord!

How did you get started with archival?
When working on a video in late 2022, I realized that there wasn't one good place for Pokémon assets. Every source was poorly vetted, had glaring inconsistencies, and lacked most things. I compiled a Google Drive of every Pokémon asset ever made, (known as the Pokémon Asset Archive) and shared it online, in October of 2022. I never really intended to fill the role of series archivist, but ever since myself and a team of volunteers have been uncovering and documenting so much content both old and new, which crescendoed into the creation of this site.

When is "X" getting added to the site?
